4/12/2020 Gehenna Where Death Lives Explained
Was drawn into seeing 'Gehenna: Where Death Lives' with a cool poster/cover, a premise that does compel one to watch and as someone with a general appreciation for horror. That it was low-budget, which from frequent personal experience is rarely a good sign due to that there are so many poor ones out there, made me though apprehensive. Gehenna: Where Death Lives was a difficult film to review. It’s not an utterly terrible film with no redeeming qualities. It’s not an utterly terrible film with no redeeming qualities. On the one hand, it is probably too stupid and dull for serious horror fans looking for quality scares.

OK so this movie wasn't terrible. I called the 'twist' fairly early on, though, bc the movie wasn't shy about showing it's hand within the first 20 minutes.
Anyway, HERE BE SPOILERS: Who was the girl in the very beginning?? The one in the water calling out for (I think) Doug? I thought it was a 'let's start from the end and go back' kind of opening, but like I said. I called the twist and that put the kibbash on that theory pretty quickly. Anyone have input on this?
